Description
The SB Acoustics Satori AT60NC-4 is a 60 mm Kapton film tweeter from the flagship SATORI line, designed to deliver exceptional detail, speed, and low distortion in the upper frequencies. Unlike conventional dome tweeters, it uses a flexible Kapton diaphragm, placing it somewhere between a traditional dome and a planar/AMT in terms of behavior.
✅ Why It’s Special
-
Kapton diaphragm: Ultra-low mass, enabling lightning-fast transients, exceptional micro-detail, and low stored energy.
-
Very low Fs (~600 Hz): Allows crossover points as low as 1.5 kHz, giving it incredible flexibility in 2-way and 3-way systems.
-
High sensitivity (~94 dB): Works well with low-power tube amps or high-efficiency woofers.
-
Wide, smooth dispersion: Thanks to large diaphragm and waveguide integration.
-
Satori pedigree: Designed for no-compromise builds.
